Welcome to my website!
My name is María Etelvina Fernández. I help food businesses connect with their Hispanic audience by delivering clear, culturally relevant messages in Spanish.
I’m a native Spanish speaker born in Argentina, freelance Technical, Scientific, and Literary Translator, and Food Technologist. Member of the Argentine Association of Translators and Interpreters (AATI), and the Professional Council of Agricultural Engineering (CPIA - License No. 262 33 40).
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, and for over six years I've worked in the Food Industry, as part of the Quality and Food Safety areas of big companies. I am also a teacher at UADE university, in the Biotechnology, Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences Department.
In 2020, I began developing my career as a technical translator, specialized in the entire food supply chain, from primary production and manufacturing to retail and hospitality. My passion for languages also led me to work with professionals, helping them improve their English skills and fluency. As a cooking enthusiast and foodie, I love learning about foreign food habits, recipes and ingredients.
